Pousada De Coloane Boutique Hotel - Macau

The seaview from our balcony was amazing 🌊 Great staff who helped us find cool local spots, but the toilet water pipes were a bit noisy at night. A lovely retreat!

A decent size units in a classic portuguese style and responsible staff.

We had a very good stay for shortly after our visit.

We appreciated the comforts of this boutique hotel. We had an a decent size superior queen room and a fresh and generous breakfast. The pool was clean, the staff was very professional. The location was quiet and best possible, away from the tourist spots, the venue overlooked the sea. It was also very close to glittering Cotai Strip, and Fernando's Restaurant in next bay.

For a unique experience, inquire about the nearby nature trails. They provide a serene escape and fine views, perfect for morning walks.

Nice and family friendly environment. Quiet location near the beach and with sea views from rooms and restaurant. There is a small pool which is convenient for small children.

They could improve breakfast options.

Charming hideaway by the beach

Woke up to the aroma of freshly made breakfast in the quaint dining area while enjoying fine sea views from my balcony. Staff, always ready to help.

The hotel's location was quite remote, especially with a toddler in tow. We faced a long wait for taxis and had a few maintenance issues in our rooms.

Great and lovely location, a gondola station was next to our hotel. Visiting restaurants and casinos next to the venue was easy. We ate at a perfect restaurant for lunch and dinner. It had climate control, TV set and a mini-fridge-bar if needed.

Pousada De Coloane is a very relaxed, friendly hotel. It is situated out of the town next to the beach and countryside walks. What it lacks in 5 star modern efficiency it more than makes up for in character and the 'personal touch'. We felt most welcome. We are hoping to become regular guests and will go there again to enjoy the complete relaxation that it offers.

The beds are very hard! But I am sure if we had mentioned this the staf would have found a solution.

Amazing beach getaway!

This place is super chill! Loved the spacious room and the big balcony with great views. Staff was super friendly and the restaurant food was delicious, especially the huge portions. Just wish the beach was a bit closer to the hotel. Getting a taxi took some time, though.

I like the quiet environment and privacy as it is really far from the noisy, crowded city centre. I like its balcony as every room is facing the beach, the swimming pool and every room has a jacuzzi. The price is very reasonable. There were not many visitors in the hotel. I enjoyed the relaxed moment during my stay.

The hotel's unique environment is also its weakness. If you are looking for some convenience location for shopping, eating and sight-seeing, Pousada De Colone is not the ideal choice. Certainly not good for a group of friends. Besides, Some facilities/utilities such as the bedsheets, shower curtin are a bit old and some need to be replaced.

The view was lovely and a very relaxing enviroment. Pool was a little small but very nice, clean and not over crowded. The bed was big and comfortable.

The room was old, damp and a little mouldy especially in the bathroom. We booked a superior room for the jacuzzi, which didn't work. We did however, get a discount for the lack of jacuzzi. The service was slow and lackadaisical when ordering food and drinks.

Staying here was a real treat! The scenic views were nothing short of lovely, and the beach access made our mornings magical while our little one played in the sand. Plus, loving that kid-friendly pool kept the kids entertained while we enjoyed a tasty Portuguese dinner.

My wife says that the hotel's location was a bit tricky with a toddler.

Fantastic Staff. A family run hotel with lots of heart. Always helpful and giving advice as to where to go. Maccau is a bus (Aus $0.65) or taxi (Aus $12-14) away. You are pretty much right on the beach. Each room has great views and the sea air is awesome.Awesome location with amazing food. Stay here!

The staff were very friendly and the location was great.

The bathroom was a bit grim - double jacuzzi and no proper shower - but reasonably clean.
